i am showing a road island red and i would like to know what i should bring for my and my bird?
I have never shown birds but I have been to shows. I know you want to bring food and water and small containers, and some extra bedding. Make sure you bring wipes to clean them up if they get messy before the judge gets to them. You may want to check out the threads in the showing section: https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/exhibition-genetics-breeding-to-the-standard-o.16188/
ok thx any other thing i need to know?
Hello there and welcome to BYC!
I have never shown birds before either. You might contact your local 4H Club or even your County Extension. One of these should have the inside scoop on showing chickens.
Good luck at the shows and welcome to our roost!
i would only i just want to know what to bring to a county fair show lol
I don't know if the show provides cages for the birds or you need to bring your own. I also don't know why everything is underlined but I can't make it stop.
The registration details should tell you what is provided. Anything else you will need to bring.
