Showgirl and polish chicks

I have a Silkie showgirl and a buff polish chick, both are 7 weeks. I’m new to the breeds and have no idea how to sex them. I know they’re harder to sex a younger ages but I thought I’d give them a shot My guesses are the polish may be a pullet and the showgirl may be cockerel?

I would also guess the polish is female and the silkie male with that comb development on it already.

Agree. But watch the Polish carefully for streamers, etc. The Silkie is possibly male, but as someone here recently said, SOME female Silkies will have a lot of comb.

Update: The polish appears to be a pullet and I’m still not sure on the showgirl but I’m leaning towards cockerel?

Yes, the Polish looks to be a pullet. The showgirl's black skin sure makes it hard, doesn't it? There is a wattle, but not a whole lot. I would lean toward pullet, but I am not really that familiar with showgirls and sexing them. I'm sure someone can give you a better idea.
