Showgirl and silkies

I have a showgirl rooster over my silkie hens and some showgirl hens.My question is the ones that hatch that are silkies will there offspring be silkies if they a breed back to a silkie rooster,and is there a chance that the nacked neck will show up in later chicks?

Yes, I believe that possibly some of the offspring, will have naked necks. I bred, a buff orpington rooster over naked neck hens. Some but not all of the chicks were naked necks.

It's my understanding if you don't see it, you don't get it. So if you have a Silkie bred to a Silkie, you can only get Silkie.

Even if the showgirl gene is in the parent ,the chicks future chicks will not carry that gene?
