Showgirl going broody.

I went to pick up the eggs from the chickens this morning 7-7-09 and I found my showgirl setting on an egg. I have some questions.

Will she stop laying?

How many eggs will she set on?

Can I still Sell them still?

HELP ME...................

She will lay to she gets a clutch built up. When I had silkies I found that 8-10 seemed to be the preference.

I am sorry I dont understand the sell them question.

If you want to sell the eggs keep gathering them daily. If she is truly broody she will stop laying. If you want her to set make sure she is truly broody and give her 7 to 10 eggs, mark them if she is with other chickens and check daily to make sure there is not eggs with her laid by another chicken.
