Showgirl not walking.

Two weeks ago we had an attack on our coup. We lost a frizzle, I have one confined to a sling already, but I'm not sure if this one is related.

I have a showgirl that had started limping on her left about a week and a half a ago. Since she was still moving around and able to go up the ramp to the coup I left her there. Long story short, she was unable to get up the ramp and so I brought her inside, lined a dog kennel with a piece of plywood and pine shavings and placed her inside. She has progressively gotten worse and is extending her left leg straight forward in front of her and no longer walking. I admit that some of this might be from me being naive (thought the best thing to do was restrict her movement and let her rest).
I have felt all over and examined her and found no signs of major injuries. Should put her up in a sling and get her off her feet totally?

How old is she? If she is under a year old, Mareks disease could be a possibility with the way she is lying with one leg extended. Slings can be helpful to get them up and in front of food and water, but some will struggle to get out of them, to the point of trying to kill themselves. I would try making one and see if she tolerates it. Here is a good link to see many slings:

Thank you. It took me three hours to create a sling that she semi tolerates. It's been tough watching my showgirl go through this. She's such a soft sweet little girl.

Can you answer the question about age? Sounds like a hallmark sign of Marek’s, but there are other possibilities. What do you feed her?

She's about 3 and a 1/2 to 4 months old. I picked up up in December. She's on uneducated chick feed. When she kept going south I started her on nutri drench and watching how much she eats, which isn't nearly as much as my other hurt chicken which will eat around 4 oz a day.

Can you switch to Poultry Cell, vitamin B complex tablets (crush 1/4 daily onto her food with a little water,) or a vitamin that contains riboflavin. PND does not have riboflavin.

Will this work? I have some at the house already. Excuse the naiveness but why riboflavin?

Riboflavin or vitamin B2 deficiency can cause curled toe paralysis and walking in hocks. Yes it looks like riboflavin is listed as an ingredient. It is not good to give electrolytes (which your porduct contains) for more than a few days, so I would eventually get some vitamin B complex tablets at your drug store. https://www.durvet.com/product/vitamins-electrolytes-100-gm/
