Showgirl rooster has no tail feathers, only sticks?? His brother is fine.

My 1yr old Showgirl Rooster has no tail feathers. Just feels like pokey sticks back there. Did they just not grow in? His wings also have “stick like” ends. His brother has a beautiful iridescent tail. Roosters are separated and the tailless one has a few ladies and chicks with him. He is dominant and isn’t getting picked on. I don’t see any mites but have dusted for them just in case. Any ideas why he looks like this??

Have you thought about separating him for a bit to see what is going on? It could be that he is a "frazzle" which is a genetic issue.

He goes crazy when he is separated from the hens, but I could. What would I be looking for when he is separated?? He just had 6 chicks, 3 of which are also showgirls. None of the chicks look like they have issues.
