Yeah I know what the heck??? I have two other showgirls from her and they are both perfect. This one I got a little younger and AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.... Great now I have a 25.00 chick that is way way not the way he is supposed to be and to top it off a he lol!!

did the breeder sell it to you as a she? or were you just hoping? Since it is not correct for breeding or showing, can you get either your money back or another chick? money back is usually not an option, but maybe the breeder will work with you on getting another chick the same age?

Well, i suppose pricing is different everywhere.....due to how readily available they are. here in NH, for good quality ones they go for (hatchlings) $10-15 and started for 15-20 each. but, to pay that price and get a DQ type of bird, that is no fun.

No I was hoping for a she! It was way to young at the time to have ANY idea. I am going to contact her on Monday to see if I can get another. Wanted my girls to raise one and have another nice friendly one to also use to show but it is a rotten roo that is DQ.. I am thinking as long as that is the norm with breeders I will be calling her on Monday!!
