Showing at the Kansas State Fair

Has anyone ever showed at the Kansas State Fair? My daughters qualified for the state fair this year. They really want to take them. I have a lot of questions about showing at the state fair and I can't find anyone to answer them. I've tried emailing both of the people listed as chairs...no replies. Then I contacted the state fair. She told me she would give the poultry clerk my phone number...no phone call. I would hate to make the 3 1/2 hour drive and be turned away because because we didn't have the information we needed to properly prepared.

There are several people there who have done some showing - I'm not sure at what level though.....
