Showing Chickens In Texas?

When I was in High School I showed americaunas at our county level and did very well I won grand champion, reserve grand champion and 3rd place two years in a row on my cockerels. We did not have a class for showing single hens they had to be in production pens so I never showed them. Anyways, I was always told that I could not show my chickens at other shows because they were classified as fancy fowl ( after findin this website I now know that was a crock). My question is what all shows can I show at now that I have been out of school for 7 years ?

If they are Ameraucana's you can show at any county meet or APA sanctioned show.
