I'm showing ducks and/or chickens (''chicks'' as I call them for being quite small for 5 months) at the fair, anyway I was wondering if I need to separate the males from the females? I never have before but the roosters seem really mean this year. and the same for the ducks, the drakes don't seem to mean they are just very interested in the ducks. (btw I have shown chickens for 4 years and ducks 1) Thanks!

Yes you should, do you not do it already. All of my birds showbirds live in individual pens for up to a month before showing with grass access outside for about an hour in the evening. It is to prevent feather picking, sun tinge, damage from cockerels and to keep them clean
