Showing Eggs at Poultry Shows

Does anyone here show eggs at the poultry shows? How do you get into it? Do you have or know of any article/publication/wise old friend who has tips on showing eggs? I was lurking on another forum and the folks were just having a blast preparing and collecting certain eggs for an upcoming show in their area. This really sounds like fun! Does anyone here have any info to share on the subject? I'd love to give it a try.
