I've shown old english game bantams before and now have some salmon faverolles, cochins and d'uccles to show in the fall. What's the best way to keep the foot feathers looking good. They are fine now, but I'm worried about them getting broken or the webs shredded. Any tips on keeping these feathers looking good ? The show birds I've seen always look perfect. Thanks !

Keep each bird on it's own in a 4x4pen with deep shavings, also make sure they have a roost so they can get up off their feet.
