Where's the best place to purchase birds that would be potential for 4-H show birds?

i would say a breeder.. what type of birds are you looking for?

Absolutely a breeder. Not a hatchery. Most breeders would love to help a youngin' get started in the fancy.

I did find some from a breeder. Ended up getting some Silver Laced Wyandottes and a Golden Laced Wyandotte. Let my kids pick them out. They are quite beautiful birds and almost the same age as my flock so should be a perfect fit.
