i have two game roosters that have long sharp spurs. my two boys (10 and 9) are showing them in 4H. i dont want them to get hurt so i wonder if the will disqualify the birds for cut spurs or will they deduct points.

have never heard of it happening. i know a lot of people cut their chickens spurs and still show them. as long as they have 2 spurs. dont think it matters as thats what they base it off of most of the time
