Showing golden pheasents

We have a male and female pair of golden pheasants and my daughter is old enough to show animals at the 4H county fair. She is not sure if she wants to show them or not. Can anyone tell use what she should expect if she were to show pheasants at a county fair?

More than likely a few dead pheasants. Most pheasants will not tolerate small pens and large crowds of people poking at them and shouting. Having said that, I have successfully brought pheasants to our county fair many times. What I did was set up a large dog kennel inside the barn, bungee cord a tarp over the top, and completely fill the kennel with freshly cut pine trees and they did fine because they could hide and feel secure. If you can't do what I described or something very similar I would not take the risk.
