I know nothing about ducksQuote: You hve the same coop as me. Just that I don't have electricity in mine. I don't really need a bigger coop because I only need to house 5 chickens, 2 call ducks, and 2 silkies. Do you think they have enough room? They will probably get free range, too.
my 10X10 kennel is just a temporary run until the young'ins can run with the big guys. My big fence is 100X100 but for the last few months I just leave it open and let them free range since I live in the country. My closest neighbor gets his mulch scratched up at times but the free eggs i give him makes him find it tolerable
. I know all about the 4ft per chicken rule but at one point I had 11 chicken living in the amish coop comfortably. All on the same roost and no fighting. They only slept and laid eggs in there of course though.Much to the disgust of feed store employee I VIOLATED their "don't touch the chicks" policy and snatched her butt up as soon as I saw her...LOL. With the exception of her fuzzy EE cheeks, her dark coloring and new feathering looks very similar to the partridge rock chicks I have in this flock. I can't wait to see how they all turn out and will definitely post pics. Please share pics of yours too. Where are they coming from?Quote:
Yes! I'm getting some EE's this week, I hope mine are that cute! I've never seen one that color. I'd love to see pics as they grow.![]()
