So I will be getting 10 ducks within the next few months (6 Indian runner and 4 welsh harlequin). When they are old enough I would like to start showing them. I am located in Michigan and I was just wondering what shows are around this area and what to expect when I go to shows (I am totally new to the duck world!) Like how they are run and such!

Are you buying birds from a breeder or hatchery?

Do you already have a SOP? I would pick one up if you plan on showing.

Are you planning on going to bigger shows or a smaller county/town shows?

Oh ok! and I looked up some shows and found the fowl fest that happens twice a year that I may go to and just see what happens! But how does a normal show work? do you just put your ducks in a cage and then the judge comes around and looks at them?
