i am showwing two chickens at the clay county fair in florida and wanted to know if you always get a ribbon or only for the chickens that win does anyone know chickens were droped of yesterday

Not every chicken gets a ribbon. Only the top six in the class get ribbons at my fair. I always get ribbons at my fair because no one else shows brahmas and even when they have they were just hatchery birds. Good luck for your first time

yes its my first time it says on my fair site that all owners will win a whitw ribbon if they have sexlinks is that tro

If that's what it says then yes. My fair doesn't just hand out ribbons to people who have sex linked chickens. If you want to do good at fair get yourself pure bred chickens and get them from a reputable breeder. For the showmanship you just need to study your project book and really work with your chicken.

ok thank you here are the exact words
sex-linked varieties, will receive a white ribbon regardless of how
glowingly their owner describes their beauty
og and i am getting a silkie in a few weeks but i disnt have time to get one before show

thats cool i manly did this for fun i just wanted to know i thought it would be cool to get a ribbon for chicken showwing non of my frinds have that.

I have too many ribbons and stuff from winning. I'm basically the best at showing chickens at my fair. Every year I have gotten at least grand champion or reserve grand champion with my meat birds. I have gotten first in showmanship all but once or twice with my fancy birds. I have gotten best of show before and many birds place first in their class. This will be my seventh year of showing this year.

do they look for mites on show day too or no would they notise
