Shrapnel inside eggs?

These spots do not lead to eggs being rejected.

Here’s what I’ve heard.
You don’t see it in commercial eggs because they get rejected in the inspection process.

They don't get rejected, they get diverted. big difference, they just end up in different packaging. It doesn't say EGGS on top of the packet, it says egg in small letters on the list of ingredients. After the blending and processing that our horrible supermarket food goes through, an odd shoe dropped into the machines ends up blended and spread out amongst 10,000 muffins or bread or mayo or whatever and nobody notices or cares. It is simply not put into places that confront the consumer. That is why you cannot buy fresh eggs at supermarkets. They are always a minimum age because people would see the difference in a fresh egg, and then complain thinking it is a fault. But a 15 month old egg looks the same a a 12 week old egg, so it's cool. But a 2 day egg is different to both of them, hence, you never get fresh because it's "WHATS THIS ?" makes people pester the help lines,

You can eat those eggs, they are safe. If too many parts fall off your egg production equipment at home and wind up in your food, the usual cure is to eat the production equipment,
