I got my chicks today!!!!

I was at TSC at 8:32 AM waiting for the chicks to come in from the post office. I could hear them cheeping as soon as the employee came into the door. And since I was the first customer waiting for chicks I got the pick of the hatch.

I bought................

3 Silkies - White, Buff, & Blue

2 Batnam Cochins - Blue & Blue Wheaton

2 Sebrights - Gold Laced & Silver Laced

They are SO cute!!!!

But when I tried to put them under my broody she started being awful mean to them by picking them up and shaking them with her beak.

I quickly swooped the chicks up and brought them inside to brood them in the family room which is where I am sitting right now. Well and I guess I'll have to get some eggs for Ms. Picky broody after all. Boy do I feel like kicking her across the coop and then some.
