Shrimp for chickens?

Just cleaning out the freezer and found some shrimp left by a past guest long gone. Can't stand the stuff myself - and it's probably freezer burned - and was wondering if it's ok to give the girls?

My girls LOVE shrimp. I get cocktail shrimp every once in a while and I always give the leftovers to them. Pretty much, if a person can eat it, then chickens can eat it.

I've only ever fed my hens the leftovers from cooked shrimp: shells and tails. They ate them up pretty quickly!

I'm not sure if it's safe to feed them raw, thawed shrimp or not.

We give our chickens any cooked, left-over seafood and/or fish that we have. They love it!!! I never feed it to them raw, though.
