Thank you. I used organic, cold pressed coconut oil that I had on hand. She is in 65% humidity a 98.5 degrees. I have a homemade bator made out of a cooler I had on hand (this was a salvaged egg) so that might be as high as I can get it.She is still absorbing, I would apply a moistener like food-grade mineral oil or coconut oil to the membrane to keep it from drying out, I would also keep the humidity fairly high 70%ish. Give her some time, and don't peel off any more of the shell.
Oh my! I've been in hear monitoring her peeping. She is OUT of the shell completely. She seems to have absorbed the yolk completely and is now on her side sleeping, drying off. Is everything OK? This has been such a roller coaster.
