Shrink wrapped ducks?? What should I do?

I tried to keep from pulling much of the membrane and tried to just push most of it backwards so I wouldn't break any vessels. There actually seemed to be less vessels inside this shell than the last one. its still peeping in the bator

. I hope he makes it!

He looks good...no bleeding. Just keep him in the bator and wait for him to kick off his shell. That process should happen on its own from my experience in hatching in bators. How is your one that is out doing? If he is dry, you can move him to the brooder under the heatlamp for warmth and let this little one rest and release his egg

the 1st duckling, I just put in the brooder and hes cheeping his little head off as loud as he can. lol. He is pretty good and fluffed and doesn't have an egg.

YAY...that's good and he will probably cheep away until it has company...those babies hate being alone! Hows the new hatchling doing??? And the good news is that the other 2 still in their eggs have their safehole and should be ok until you get back in touch with her.

on further inspection... this new one is trying to kick his shell off in the incubator.. when I look inside theres no yolk at all and there is some blood but hes not bleeding. Hes nowhere near as sticky and gooey as the other baby was

That's REALLY good news. When I have hatched in an incubator...sometimes the shell sticks with the chick and it comes off when it is ready so I am sure it will be soon. And if this baby is moving and cheeping...it should do just fine :) How are the 2 still in their egg? Pecking?

Yep, the two in the eggs are pecking and cheeping! Ive got the newbie in the bator and #1 set up in the brooder.. im going to get get an hour nap before my toddler wakes up for the day. lol. Thank you for sticking with me!!
