Yes... But if you had to give them away the whole forum would cry.. Youve been through so much and they have imprinted on you... It will be an amazing learning expierience for your kids.. Hope u can keep them

I would think so...LOL!!! That longest I ever kept ducklings I hatched was 6 weeks( I hatch them in my classroom and OF COURSE spoil them at home too) and they pooped everywhere and often. My friend has one...also in a condo HOA..and her girl wear duck diapers when inside and pretty much they are commited to hosing down the patio often...LOL. They have a little man made pond in their backyard but it is filtered.

You have some time so do some research and see what it takes to care for the type of duck you have, housing, size ect. That's what I did for my Bantam and my friend did for their duck, Maggie. If handled from hatch, they are usually very people friendly..love to be pet and sit on your lap. Like any pet, its work...just no common pet upkeep seen in the "city". It is sooo much fun an defiantly a different experience

It is quite the site for sure..but allows Maggie to walk around the house without making a mess!!! I have wood floors and all tile where my girl Peep gets to hang out so not to much of a concern. She is also used to going poo outside and will run to the door as soon as we get home or let her out of her house...too funny!! She does not like to poop in her house AT ALL!!!

OK...think we have 20 min or so until Dir. L gets back so I'm gonna step away and do something productive for a few!! I am on vacation from teaching til tomorrow and WOW have I taken it seriously today!!! My hubby is so gonna laugh when he hears what I did with myself today...LOL
