Shrink wrapped ducks?? What should I do?

What a bummer! Not sure about the water, swimming thing but there are lots of threads dedicated to house chickens/ducks you can check! Yes, you would need to watch dogs with the ducks for sure...although many people have had successful ways to introduce them peacfully

Dogs #1 enemy of water fowl unless trained to leave them alone. as far as ponds go most of us don't have them we use kiddy pools
 
How long should it take this little guy to get out of his shell? Its fighting it hard now, peeping and reeeeeally stretching to try to get out.

Awww...you can do it Tricky!!! I have had ducklings and chicks that hatched on their own fight with their egg for a while. Its a process for them so I let them do it on their own...but I have not had the sticky goo issue either. He is fighting so that's good
