Shrink wrapped ducks?? What should I do?

Okay...so here is a general question for duck people( not that I am not one, but I don't have any of my own!) Does it matter if the ducks are male or female when you consider keeping them like it does with chickens? I have a Bantam Cochin that I hatched in the classroom and kept because she was so sweet and female...but a lot of times roosters are preferred. Just wondering how that works for ducks????

Usually girls are Noiser then boys. But not sure if that makes a different because Roosters are LOUD...

3 kiddos. Seriously. It's a zoo over here. They're completely obsessed and the duckies are getting an Insain amount of love. I have 3 kids ages 7, 5, and 19 months, 2 mini dachshunds, a lionhead bunny, saltwater fish, and a hubby who tolerates my animal obsession. Lol

Wow your busy.

I dont have any calls but i hear they are LOUD...,Last year for my b-day i got some ducklings. To buff five blue swedes three black swedes and three cayugas.. Now they are full grown and laying.. We are actually trying to rehome 2 drakes if anyone is interested...

Yes!! That's right!

That's awesome! I never got to experience that in school so that's why I wanted to do it for my kiddos
That is so awesome that you did this! Such a great learning experience for kids!!! I have a special education preschool class so the kids absolutely love it!!! And they are sooo kind and gentle to the babies when they hatch! We have strict rules about looking, not touching and when they get to pet the chicks and it is the one time of year I know EVERYONE is a rule follower...LOL! Best classroom management ever
