yes i keep humidity right between 65 and 70 appon lock down but or 5 day before there due to hatch. I always fill my incubator up first with the 5 duck eggs then normally and 10 turkey eggs and 30 chicken eggs i put then so they all hatch about the same time and lock down will all be about the same time it works. so first day 5 duck 10 turkey then i wait 8 days and put my chicken eggs in all and 55-60 humility. on the 16th day of the chicken going in i raise humility to 65 to 70 humility and remove turner. day 21 for the chickens first of all the chicken hatch some of the ducks hatch and and some of the turkeys hatch. Duck are the only ones that normally need help. then by the 23rd day from when i put the chicken eggs in everything is normally hatched.. i will lose 4 to 5 percent of my eggs befor hatch time due to what ever reason but I don't think that too bad. but after this last batch i decided i was done with hatching i had enough for next yea this hen that was setting decided to stop setting and tend to the chicks i set out in the yard. so i took her eggs and put them in the batter at 55 percent humility thinking i had another week or so before hatch well they hatched in the incubate at 55 percent humility and there very very healthy and now in the coop with the rest of the chicks. last batch i ended up with 4 ducks 7 turkey and all the chickens. and alway spriz my eggs once they start to hatch it seem to help. My duck normaly look just about like yours with the q tip that would be the time i would roll the skin back long as it dosn't bleed and let the head pop out then chick will do the rest.
