Shrink wrapped ducks?? What should I do?

That's what I think too. He seems to forget that when i met him he was doing his laundry at a laundromat. I would think those washers were exposed to a lot more germs than mine with my baby chicks, ducks, and peas! He can kiss my hiney!

Lol, I have a 10 kg washing machine especially for horse rugs. There is only one place in my entire house that I can hide chocolates, that is the washing machine, cause I know that my hubby is not likely to ever look in there. :lau

Lol hush! She liked it! It's been raining for 3 days.. Had to improvise to get them out if the brooder a while! It's getting crowded in there!

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what to do with them, the brooder is getting too small, I can't keep them all ( not sure hubby us going to let me keep any yet) ANC my mom isn't ready for her few yet! My daughter has a wooden playhouse ( just like a real house) in the back yard. Ice been thinking about turning it into a duck coop. She never plays in it anymore. I'm thinking cutting a doggie door in the back would work, with a ramp to the ground and a little snake proof fenced area off the back? Maybe putting chicken wire on the front door and building nesting boxes in the inside? It has peel& stick vinyl flooring.. Would I have to put shavings or straw all over the floor? This sounds totally dumb.. But I've never owned birds before!

Will they just poop everywhere though? Do they poop outside in the grass? Will I be cleaning up poop all day long inside the house part? I need details! Lol

Yes like we said b4 they are very messy.. Especially with waterers. We clean our area out about one-two times a week.. Granted we have 15 but i mean if you have 6-8 duckles and if you made a run under it it might work... But you said you may only keep a few so idk.. Can i have pics to see your design idea

I think your idea of using the playhouse will work...there is actually a thread on here that has coops people have made using childrens old playhouses( yes, I have spent a LOT of time on here since getting my chickens..LOL). As far as cleaning...yes you will have to clean out their house

But if they are like chickens, they are out in their run area more than their house...coop...can someone PLEASE clarify what you call it for ducks????? So actual cleaning inside their house/coop should be minimal. Mine actually does not even like to poop in her house and will only do it when necessary in the shavings area
