Shrink wrapped ducks?? What should I do?

Cool! Our broody is still sitting.

On another note i cleaned lots of eggs today

Your not going to try and hatch any now are you?

Do ducks lay as much as chickens? Do they need a male?

No and they only need a male to fertilize them. But ducks are seasonal..

Oh goodness! My girl has gone CRAZY!!! She is on and off her nest..and when she is off she is all shreiky (is that even a word???LOL) and clucky and raising her feathers all over the place

I keep telling her to just CHILL and sit on the eggs in her nest until the fertilized eggs get here

Seriously!! I have never seen her act soooo crazy!!! When she wen broody last month, she just sat in her nest and gave that crazy pterodactyl scream if we even got near her in her nest...LOL! Stayed a pancake on the floor when we moved her out of her nest(we were discouraging this crazy broodiness then). I keep telling her..go back..but she isn't listening

Guess I don't speak chicken very well...LOL!!!

Haha shes being a mule. Our broody red has been sitting for a few days and when i tried to move her to a private spot she made a fuss jumped out and went back to a nest box LOL
