If you increase humidity while a chick is hatching, will that cause shrinkwrapping? Or, it it just caused by decreasing humidity?

Trust me, im no where near a expert (you should know lol) but I think its just decreasing, please correct me if im wrong.

from what i have been told and read you shouldnt lift the top of the bator at all while they are hatching. when they start to hatch they should put off more moistor as they dry in the bator. lifting the lid even for a few secs. can cause a harmfull effect and shrinkwrap them, as it lets the humidity thats already in there drop even lower...if im wrong please correct me as i am about to set 20 eggs on sun. and this is my first time
