If it’s not it will be the first rooster in history to lay eggs daily for over a year. lol. She is also the only white egg layer we have.Looks like a peck mark maybe.

I need to add a qualifier here. The sudden death was a young chick and a rooster who ate a substance that he could not breakdown. Shame on me!Sudden deaths can be from fatty liver disease which is caused by eating too many treats/not a proper balanced diet.
As far as “scratch” goes, this is layer feed from our local farm store. They have been eating this for about 10 months now and had no issues. We do not feed scratch grain of pure cracked corn to our ladies nor do we feed a lot of treats, unless you consider table scraps as treats.I see A LOT of scratch like stuff all over the floor of your run. That shouldn't be fed regularly and if fed at all only a small spoonful worth per bird per day.
