Hi everyone!
I want to introduce our new peacock, Shyam! Why is he mysterious? We don't know where he came from...lol! This beautiful boy showed up on our property on July 27, 2021! He has decided that our yard is a nice haven. The area where we live is mostly sand, sagebrush, tumbleweeds and rock! We have 5 acres and we have approximately 2 acres under irrigation with treeline's encircling our yard and house! We asked around and no one has claimed him. He is a welcome addition to our yard!
Without further ado...Shyam!
This is where he decided to roost!
He also likes hanging out under our Crabapple tree!
I haven't had the chance to see him with his feathers fully fanned out, my husband has seen it! He did decide however decide to grace me with the underside of his feathers! I'll take what I can get...lol!
