$28,000 for a cat!?!?!? Almost $6k for the cheapest one! Allerca must honeslty have hypoallergenic cats. But $6,000 dollars would buy me alot of cattle, and they have a better yearly return than the cat I'm sure *haha*

Let that car priced cat lick my face and we'll see if it's hypoalergenic. Darn cat saliva causes anything it touches to turn red and puffy... and then itchy so bad I rip up my skin. Doubt they controlled for that part of it.

$28,000 can fund a whole lot of shelter animals. As can the cheapo version at $6000. Pretty cool use of applied genetics, though. Probably developed a simple Eliza for the protein and started testing cats to find their initial breeders.
