Sick 5-6 week old Brahma?

Thank you both so much. I will treat them all. On a side note, today when she runs to me when I open the door to add feed to their bowls she jumps into the bowl i am holding and eats like crazy and she seems timid to eat with the others when I put the bowl back.
Maybe she was bullied by the larger birds in her flock at the breeder. Even though she is a Brahma, she is smaller than the bantams that are her age.

So should I give the Corid or the medicated feed? I know they have all been vaccinated if that makes a difference in all of this.

I would treat with Corid. I'm not certain, but I don't know that the level of amprolium I'm the medicated feed is enough to "treat" a case of cocci if she has it (have you noticed any blood in her stool? Once treated, switch over to the medicated feed as a preventative. I have raised chicks on it for 3 years now and I haven't seen any side effects or developmental issues from using it (we use the Purina medicated chick starter crumbles)

From what you are describing though she was probably steamrollered by the older chicks where she came from and may have a bit of a phobia. I had an EE like that who would fly onto my shoulder to get away from the other birds and in the coop lived in a nest box. I moved her into a small group of 6 birds (with a very docile Roo) and eventually re-integrated her into her EE flock with no issue.

Do you have a smaller calm chick to keep with her? I've also found that my special needs chicks do better with a buddy or two. :)

Medicated feed doesn't have enough medicine in it to treat coccidiosis. It doesn't even always prevent coccidiosis.

From what I have been reading, people are saying that if they have been vaccinated and then you give medicated feed it ruins the vaccination. So I would assume the same is true with administering Corid.

I don't know how to advise you since they have been vaccinated. I don't vaccinate my chickens.

I can't thank you all enough for your great advice. It has really helped. I have been watching them closely and I really think the little Brahma was, indeed steamrollered, as KristineY suggested. I grabbed a sample of her poop and see no signs of blood whatsoever. It looks normal. She is also eating well when I am there. What I did notice is that there is one bantam Cochin that is bullying her. I watched from a distance to confirm what I thought and saw the Brahma run and hide under the other 2 chicks as the Cochin chased her around to peck her. My instincts tell me to return the bully. Does it sound like I am on the right track?
