This is my first group of hens. I have 8 hens and have a very nice coop for them. One of my Americana's is sick. She was fine yesterday, but this morning would not eat, but was walking around. When I got home tonight she is lethgargic. She won't move. She has no blood any where. The coop is safe where no other animals can get to her. She has her beak open. I'm not sure what is going on with her. Any suggestions??

Thanks

Could she have gotten into something toxic?

Have you checked if she's egg bound?

No way on getting into something toxic. How do you check on being egg bound??? Like I said, I'm new at this. I'm scared she is dying :(

Is her vent hanging out at all?

Also have you checked the bottom of her feet for any injuries?

Her vent is not hanging out. Her feet has no injuries and she will not stand. I tried to set her on the roost and she fell off! I'm going back out and check on her now.
