I am new to the chicken world. I have had my 4 baby chicks for about a week and a half. They are a little over 2 weeks old now. They have all being doing great. Most of the day today they were all up and doing fine. The last part of the day my little Cream has been walking around with her feathers all poofed out acting very sleepy. She was getting up and pecking around for just a minute and want to fall right back asleep. Now all she wants to do is lay there all puffed up and sleep. I've been keeping an eye on her and she had some watery diarrhea. Is there anything I can do to help her now? Does anyone know what this might sound like? I would appreciate any help. It's very hard not to get to attached to these babies.

I would treat her for cocci,it can kill chicks very fast. You need to get Corid(amprol) treat all chicks. Dosage is Corid powder - 1/2 tsp per gallon of water, Corid liquid - 2 tsp per gallon of water. Treat for 5 days,do not give vitamins during treatment. Give vitamins after treatment is complete.
