Sick baby! Maybe malnutrition?

I recently picked up a baby chick from a lady i knew who no longer wanted it. The chick has been kept in a fish tank and fed only crackers. Now it is VERY thin and not at proper stature of a chick its age should be. It also seems very stressed. And its poop is a mostly water, pellet like substance. Any ideas on how to make it better or gain weight faster?? And how to firm its poo up faster??

A hard boiled egg is packed with protein just cut it up into tiny pieces so its easier for it to eat.Also give it some chick starter feed,mannapro chick electrolyte powder for its water they carry it at tractor supply and most feed stores.
