sick bantam... reddish/brownish poo... kindda runny...

My young bantam's poop is a reddish/brownish color and is slightly runny. She seems to be behaving fine though. Could it just be that she is drinking a lot of water or is it the disease that causes chicks to die?

Have you seen that chart yet? I know it eased my mind when my chickens were new and I worried myself sick.

Sounds like cecal (sp?) poop and that's normal - something like one out of every 8 poops is this stuff?? Do a search on it in this forum. Also, there are poop pictures you can look at - do a search for those too!
