sick bantam rooster

Just went to go collect eggs this morning and one of my bantam roosters is sick. He looks like he has diarrhea and is constipated at the same time! He has poo all over his back end. He lifts his tail really high, chatters a little, then lowers his hind end, strains but nothing comes out. Then he repeats the whole process over again. What can this be?? What can I do??

I have no immediate answers for you as it could be any number of things really.
What have you been feeding him (and how old is he?)
When was the last time you wormed?
If it were me I would separate (to monitor and also control what he eats) ... I would concentrate his nutrition by adding a good general supplement like aviacharge 2000 to his (grower or other NONlayer type) feed or if you dont have that get some babyparrot handfeeding formula and mix through his feed and cut out all treats such as any table scraps etc you may have been giving.
Then I would worm him (if that hasnt been done very recently) with ivomec Eprinex and watch for further symptoms.
