I have a 1 year old Tom that was always walking around puffed up and showing off to everything there was. One day he was sleeping all the time. and has been this way for two months now. He has been walking around panting. But does not do that anymore. He keeps his eyes closed, and his now blind. He is pale on this head with scabs on it and it appears this snood is infected. ( its hard and big) He has just started eating the last couple days. I have started giving him VetRx and seems to have helped a little. Anyone know what could be going on? He is so skinny. He is with chickens yes. He is also with about 8 other turkeys. (two full grown hens and 6 poults (4 months old) None of them are showing any symptoms. Its just him. I was thinking blackhead, but he is still living and nobody else is sick. I love this turkey and I want him to get better.
