sick buff Orpington rooster

My brother has a buff rooster. O think its sick. But we don't know what it is. it has stoped crowing it won't move it was drinking alot of water and its comb is part black. We need some help if some one can help

Bumping because your brother's post in the Buff Orp thread also has been unanswered.

No advice, personally, but:
(1) When did the rooster stop crowing? Yesterday? Last week? How long has this been going on?
(2) When did the amount of water being drunk change, and by how much?
(3) When did the comb start to change its color?

Also, how old is the rooster?
Has there been any change in its poop?

Any chance it's fowl cholera?
