Sick Chick Please HELP

Thank you everyone for your help. My girl just passed while I was holding her. I still be treating my others first thing tomorrow. :he

Yes the picture I posted was of Tommi our little porcelain duccle and she and her sister tink had severe coccidiosis

What you should do is treat all your chicks on corid because they likely all have it if they were living with the chick who died
do the corid for five days and they should get increasingly better

I'm very sorry you lost your girl. :hugs
Please, when you get the Corid, also get yourself a small bottle of poultry cell or Nutri-drench and whatever chicken probiotics TSC sells.
There are a few items you should have on hand in your chicken emergency kit and the Corid and Nutri-drench are two of them.
Hopefully, the rest of your chicks will remain asymptomatic and you will clear them with your Corid water treatment.

So do most of all chickens have this but it’s is kept at bay due to immune system or is this one that’s trally only dangerous during early life like a cold?

Are you referring to Coccidiosis?
Coccidia is a protozoa that is found in the soil and in poop. It thrives in warm wet locations - a brooder is an ideal place. Chicks usually build resistance to what it in their environment, but they can have an outbreak when conditions are right and there is an overload.
