This looks like accumulated pus that needs to come out.

Here is how to do it:

Use a warm and wet compress first and carefully flush the eye after the procedure to remove any tiny residues and apply antibiotic eye drops.

And welcome to the BYC community!:frow
Eek !
Not the condition, which deserves a different type of eek, but the video itself.

A large swollen eye with pus can be a sign of coryza respiratory disease. Does the chicken smell bad? Getting the pus from the swollen eye which extends into the sinus cavities, and treating with antibiotics such as sulfadimethoxine or sulfatrim is the usual treatment. But culling the bird and getting a necropsy and diagnosis from your state vet lab is helpful, to know what you are dealing with. That might control the spread of coryza, since it may cause the whole flock to be carriers. Occasionally, a chicken might get a seed or foreign body that becomes trapped and causes infection. Flushing the eye with saline or eye wash after expressing the pus would be the first treatment, and then I would apply antibiotic ointment into the eye twice daily.,
