Sick chick

I have a young hen sick. She was isolating herself a few days ago and kinda limping. Then she seemed better yesterday then not so today.

She has never layed so was wondering can one get egg bound right at first?

We isolated her. She is pretty still, but ate some sweet potatoes off my finger and she is drinking when put right in front of her. She just expelled mostly watery??

Not sure what's wrong?

I don't know about the egg, but if she is eating and drinking she should be fine. But if she gets worse you could isolate her and watch her more closely. Also if she has never laid, try putting straw in the nesting boxes and see if that helps her lay sooner. Good luck!

We have isolated her already. She seems to have trouble walking and uses wings to aid her movement.

Will continue to watch.
