I'm raising cornish crosses for the first time. I have 11 of them and have them with 6 peking ducks. They have all been in a large cattle waterer until today when I moved them into a horse stall. They have 24/7 access to heat lamp, H20, and chick starter feed from tractor supply.

They seem to be doing well, they have turned somewhat red but I'm told this is normal due to feathering.

However, there is one chick that eats if I put it by the feeder but it doesn't move around like the others. It seems sick but I'm not sure with what. It's just not moving really, when I pick it up it's eyes are open and it can lift its head. Not sure what is wrong or what I should do? Does anyone have any ideas.

Anyone have any idea on this? I brought the chick in last night and gave it food and water. It eats and drinks but literally does not move. There was a big pile of poop behind it in one place. The poop looks normal as far as I can tell. There was no blood and it looked correct consistency.

Can you post some photos of the chick?
How old is it?

Sometimes chicks fail to thrive, but try to encourage it to stay hydrated first, then eat.
A couple of drop of poultry vitamins may help.

It is about 2weeks old. When I initially gave it water it perked up but it has returned to not moving.

Yup poop seems normal. It’s been under a light until I brought it in house. I only have one light and left it for others.

I’m wondering if I should put it down? It eats and drinks and chirps. It looks alert but it literally does not move. I went to bed at 10pm last night and woke up at 7 am and ther is a pile of poop behind it because it literally did not move an inch. If anyone has any suggestions I’d appreciate it?
