Sick Chick

Hi everyone! Today I brought home a chick (about a week old) from my school who is not putting weight on one of her feet. She is holding it up, but it able to walk around. It looks bent compared to her other leg as well. She is a lot smaller than the other chicks we hatched and seems to be more weak. She does not always have her eyes open and just tends to lie down. Right now, I have the leg wrapped with vetrap and am giving her water with electrolytes. Is there anything else I should be doing for her? TIA!

Can you post any pictures of the chick’s legs? They can have different leg problems sometimes, such as slipped tendon, varus or valgus deformity, and she might have been hurt. Does she have any sores on her legs or hock?
