I hatched a chick a two days ago and it can't seem to walk properly anymore. Earlier I found it upside down and when I straightened it up it seemed fine, but now it just seems to be very dopey and just wants to lie down. When it gets up for a few minutes it can't lift its bum off the floor, it just shuffles along. I did put some food in its mouth and it ate it but it has no interest in eating on its own. Any ideas what might be wrong with it?

Sorry for your loss, and that no one saw your earlier post. The chick sounded weak or suffering from neurological issues related to the hatch. Usually feeding electrolytes and keeping them water are about all you can do, and even that sometimes won't save them.
