Sick chicken and travel

Has she been laying eggs recently? Have you seen any soft or abnormal eggs? Check her crop and tell us if it is empty, full, hard, doughy, or puffy soft. In early morning before eating, it should be empty. You can check for egg binding by inserting a clean or gloved finger into her vent 2 inches, to feel for an egg or obstruction. What do her poops look like? Pictures are sometimes helpful.

She laid an egg on Saturday. She doesn't lay everyday. Her crop seems fine and the vet checked yesterday and no egg. Her poops today are normal. She is alert but not really walking around. Making soft chirpy noises.

Can she stand and walk if you lift her up? Is she eating and drinking today? Poultry NutriDrench 2 ml orally, or a similar vitamin with electrolytes given for a couple of days might give a boost.

She can stand and walk around a bit. She isn't eating. We have nutridrench and giving her that as well.
