I am a first time chicken owner and I adopted 4 adult hens from someone about a month ago. The brahma seems to have very deformed feet and I identified this as bad scaly leg mites that she has probably had for awhile and have just started treatment this past week week based on an article here. The 3 other chickens have been bullying her and she sleeps in the nesting box because she is pushed out by the others. They were all originally apart of a flock of 9.

I am trying to figure out if this chicken is sick with anything else and her face seems off. Is this a anemia as a side effect to the mites? Something else? I wonder too if she is sleeping in the nesting box because her feet are so messed up and if I should just let her, or if it is because the bullying and not sure how to resolve this.

I also need to investigate further to see if there are other mites on the chickens and treat that too. We've started to get bites that we noticed after we are outside near the coop. Lesson learned about adopting from someone else and not being fully up to speed on chicken health first...
