Ok. Trying to make a long story short. Last week I got home from work and found one of my 7 hens dead. No head, neck, and intestines gone. Feathers EVERYWHERE. 3 others were injured but not life threatening. They were IN their coop and I can't find ANY way something got in and got them. Today I noticed one was off by itself while the others were out in the yard. She was standing there falling asleep. Very strange for her. I took her inside, say her in my lap and she didn't care what I did to her. Again, strange. She does feel skinny but I gave her food and water and she ate and drank. Continues to fall asleep standing. I'm also concerned about some spots on two other hens faces and the hen who was the second worst injured. Almost all her tail feathers were ripped out and she has a big bald spot. NONE of this was there and none were acting strange before the attack/murder. Attaching pics. Really worried about the sleepy lethargic one. 🫤

Poor babe! Looks like dry fowl pox to me. I've noticed quite a few posts recently with this virus. It has to run it's course. I recommend giving her nutri drench to help boost her immunity and make sure she eats and drinks.

I've only had fox attacks. I would think it would need to be something really small if you can't find an entry point.

Hard to tell about the scabs on the comb if they are picking, injury or Fowl Pox. Looks minor, but I'd keep watch on them.

The one that is standing by herself - when was her last egg? Feel her abdomen below the vent between her legs for bloat or fluid. See that her crop is emptying overnight.
Do try to get her hydrated.
